Behind the Scenes (BTS)
A morning to remember: On June 20th at 7 am Ryan David Jackson Photographers ventured out to the boondocks (exaggeration) for an unforgettable senior portrait session filled with grits, grit, grass and a@$. RDJ is not seeking boudoir portraits, nor will he ever, but this morning hovered between Boudoir & Borat.
The Session started at the crack of dawn at The Cabin and Pond for fishing, droopy eyed portraits, ‘Bama’ the dog and the boys. Mason ” the prized bull of the day” Parker was slow to photograph but melded quickly to the task. (The boys start plotting)
On to The Grill for some southern grits, sausage and sweet tea that was to die for. The ma & pa convenience store/diner/gas station? are the best eatiers in the U.S. (the boys continue plotting)
On to The Stadium for wicked football portraits. (plot unfolds). 20 minutes into the shoot Mrs. Parker notices the boys hanging by the luve rather declothed. They come running over flapping like a tupee (you be the visualizer) in boxers, t’s, and cowhides on the pies (that’s spanish for foot).
Blackmail was the first thought but I think the country boys will enjoy the facebook image of “Boxer football.” As long as they don’t start the BFL. Whether blackmail or high school bravery and pride, the images are getting posted anyway.
On the contrary these young men are amazing examples of “country class” and hospitality, have a brotherly love for each other I rarely see among high schoolers, and would likely take a bullet for each other. True country class, minus the pasty white thighs.
Only 2 FREE June Senior Portrait Sessions left.
Call at 910 916 1493 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to save up to $350 off your senior portraits. You could buy a lot of clothes with an extra $350 in your pocket.
First wedding of 2011 = “Rolling in the Thunder” by Adele. The skies were black, the rains came and the party rolled on to a gorgeous night for Dwayne and Barbara. All I can say is love was in the air. I had the easiest job of the day because Dwayne and Barbara couldn’t keep their eyes off each other. A dream for a photographer.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Mills. It was an honor to capture your day at the beautiful Barrington House in Dunn, NC.
